FROM THE FOUNDER
What began as a personal journey became the seed for something much greater.
Blyss was born during a deeply transformative chapter in my life. As a mother and designer of 20+ years, I was seeking something more meaningful — something that aligned with my values.
While preparing for my son’s birth, I took part in a birth trauma course that used shamanic journeying and art therapy to help release trauma stored in the body. It was here I was introduced to Colour Therapy and Shibori Tie-Dye — practices that helped shift me from the mind into the heart. Shibori’s embrace of imperfection and its deep connection to nature instantly resonated.
After that experience, I felt transformed. I surrendered. I healed. I went on to have the birth I had dreamed of.
Not long after, I travelled to Indonesia with my son and began to create. I committed to designing with purpose — by hand, using certified organic fabrics, and working with artisans who craft with integrity and intention. Our dye house uses wild plants not only to create colour, but to honour their healing, medicinal properties when worn.
