Everything I lose creates space for everything I need.
MUJO begins with rupture β and moves through a sequence of internal states.
What we move through becomes a quiet invitation to shift.
This collection explores detachment as practice β a way of remaining open.
Loving without holding. Releasing without closing.
At its core is impermanence β Mujo (η‘εΈΈ).
Nothing is fixed. Nothing remains the same.
The collection moves through five states:
Surrender. Composure. Freedom. Oneness. Equanimity.
Each piece reflects a way of being.
Surrender softens β knitted forms where colour drips and releases.
Composure contains β a storm held within structure.
Freedom expands β wing-like tie-dye across fluid, unrestrictive silhouettes.
Oneness aligns β linear markings tracing the body like quiet internal architecture.
Equanimity holds β light and dark existing within the same form, not resolved, but present together.
A body holding contrast without collapse.
Kanji is embroidered into garments β markers of internal states worn close to the body. Subtle. Personal. Lived rather than explained.
Silhouettes are designed as uniform β everyday essentials for transseasonal winter. Pieces to be worn repeatedly, moved in, and returned to. Functional, refined, and grounded in daily life.
Crafted from organic fibres, hand-loomed and hand-dyed using shibori techniques, each garment carries variation as a natural result of process. Colour is formed through shibori β a wearable transmission of time, touch, and movement.
MUJO is not about becoming something new.
It is about how we continue with what already exists.
